Scripture:
Romans 14:23 But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.
Observation:
If I do something that I know is not forbidden in scripture, but I still feel in doubt about it, then it is not done in faith, and it is wrong for me to do.
Application:
If I feel any doubt about something I'm going to do, I shouldn't do it. There are many times that I've made decision not to do something because the person that I'm with would not think it was o.k., but it may be totally fine with me. I want to grow in Christ, and I must respect their convictions. I am not to judge them. I am to love them like Christ loves them.
Prayer:
Thank You, God for Your Word. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that guide us. Help me to live a life that reflects You to others that they may be blessed and encouraged. I love You and praise, God. Amen
