Scripture:
1 Tim. 4:12,13 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
Observation:
I realize in this chapter that the ideals that are set in today's world of right and wrong are not from God, but from "deceiving spirits." Everything that God made is good if taken with thanksgiving.
Application:
We have to tell others, believers and nonbelievers, by our words and our actions to live by God's Word and not what people make of it to suit their lives.
Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for opening my eyes to Your Word to be able to understand how You want me to live my life so that I may be Your example to others. I am Your vessel; use me, Lord. It is Your plan that I accept and desire to live. In Jesus' name, Amen.
