Scripture:
John 9:39-41 39 Then Jesus told him,“I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.” 40 Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?” 41 “If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see."
Observation:
Jesus came to those who needed Him. Those who claim to already have the answers or those who claim to be whole, have no need for Him (at least they think). We can only be healed once we acknowlwdge our need for a healer. If we claim to have it all together, we will not seek Him.
Application:
With the help of the Holy Spirit, search my heart to see if there are any areas of my life in which I think I can see, but am blind. Then allow God through prayer and obedience to His word to heal my blindness. Also hold myself accountable to Godly men and women who will speak into my life in love and restore me to a right relationship with the Healer.
Prayer:
Lord search my heart and heal every area of my life. I declare my need for You today. Amen.
I love all of your talk about the "Healer." God has laid "healing" on my heart for the past three or four weeks SO strongly--I feel some miracles coming in our body! Praise Him!
