Scripture:

Psalm 105:4 Look to the Lord and His strength. Seek His face always.

Observation:

David is exhorting us as believers to seek His face always and to rely on His strength, not our own.

Application:

Today is Rich’s 40th birthday. I was falling in and out of sadness throughout the day, and when I read this, it turned my day around to gladness. I knew all would be ok.
Tonight Rich called and was so excited. He received the Bible I had sent. He held his Bible up and said to his Jehovah Witness roommate…. You can’t tell me that God doesn’t delight in giving birthday gifts to his kids, to which his response was a smile and “well, maybe”….

Prayer:

Thank You, God, that Your Son thought of my son on his birthday. Thank You for the witness You are to all people. I praise You in ALL things. Amen and Amen!!!
