Scripture:

Psalm 130:1-4 "1 Out of the depth I cry to you O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. 2 Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. 3 If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared."

Observation:

The first two verses reveal an intense desire; and the next two are a humble confession of repentance and faith.

Application:

This is one of my favorite scriptures. All men sin, but with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, there is forgiveness. I sin everyday and it is awesome to know that our God loves me so much that I can repent of my sins and be forgiven. We have such an awesome God!!!

Prayer:

Dear Father, I love You so much and am so thankful for Your love for me. Please have mercy on me and forgive my sins. I pray that You continue to give me strength and direction as I continue my walk with You. - Amen

  1. Amen to that! Where would we be if we had to earn it? He is so merciful and gracious to me!
