Scripture:

Luke 23:45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.

Observation:

As Jesus died, the curtain of the temple was torn in two--the place where before only the High Priest could meet with God. With the curtain gone, ALL could approach God directly.

Application:

Because Christ died, I am able to approach God directly with my requests, supplications, and thanksgiving.

Prayer:

Jesus, I thank You for Your sacrifice. Because of the blood You shed, I can talk to the Father, give Him my burdens, lay it all down, and ask for help.

    I LOVE this whole picture--God didn't leave anything undone when Christ died, including that veil being torn in two! What a picture of "access"!!
