Scripture:

Matthew 8: 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed."

Observation:

A higher level official is asking Jesus for help, but knows his place, that he is a sinner and unworthy, even though he has absolute faith that Jesus will heal with just one word.

Application:

Life would be so easy if we truly gave everything to God. To have this kind of faith in our day to day lives! I know when I do give “it” to God, there is no stress and no pain between my shoulders!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I give it all to You. Thy will be done. Help me to remember in everything I do, You have a plan and it is not for me to deside, but to be Your servant Lord, which I do so gratefully! I know my reward is already planned. Help me to be what You have planned for me. In Jesus' name.

    "...no pain between my shoulders." That's so funny. We all have our tender places that show us that we're stressed way too much and not trusting God, don't we?? Thanks for the blog, Lis!
