Scripture:

Psalm 21: 7 For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken.

Observation:

David, a leader, is simply stating his trust in the Lord and how, through his unfailing love of Him, he will not be shaken (removed from the throne).

Application:

I can lose a great deal of things like money, family, friends, homes, jobs and so on...but I never lose God's favor as long as I trust Him and love Him. I serve a great God that loves me. He loves me enough to find value in me and pour time, consideration and power into me. I take joy in my King and rejoice knowing how He feels about me. He loves me, carries me, purely desires time with me and sees the depths of me that no other can see. He is so worthy of my unfailing love. I will not be shaken (removed from His Kingdom).

Prayer:

I pray for Your wisdom today, Lord....let it be my strength. Share with me more about You, about Your heart and Your plans. I will make time for You to do that. I lay my thoughts and ideas before Your throne and replace them with Yours. I trust You....I trust You....I trust You. Your unfailing love for me, even after knowing the depths of me, is so humbling and so exciting. I'm so thankful for my relationship with You and I pray it increases today. Amen
