Scripture:
Psalm 28:5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.
Observation:
One of the most unpleasing characteristics to the Lord is NOT being aware of His work in your life or the world. The fact that even among the wicked He is working and His deeds are being shown and they do not notice is one of the most displeasing things to Him.
Application:
This scripture is particularly talking about the wicked, but to ignore the indication it gives me of God's heart would be detrimental. To word the scripture another way, you could say that "He loves and builds up those who regard the works of the Lord and the deeds of His hands."
Prayer:
Father, help me see Your works and glorify You accordingly. Let me find favor in Your sight in this regard and give You the glory You deserve for ALL that You do.
