Scripture:

1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Observation:

Paul tells us that God understands that we will be tempted. He will not forsake us for that, and He will help us find our way back to a more righteous way.

Application:

We have all been tempted and have sinned – but God shows us how to repent and throw off sin. He is a forgiving God and through Jesus we are forgiven and reborn. I thank God for His Son and my salvation.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your forgiveness and for the sacrifice of Your Son for my sins. I will love and obey You – keep me in Your warm light. Amen.
