Scripture:
Romans 10:21 But concerning Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
Observation:
Isaiah 65:2 says, "All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations--" This is the verse Paul is quoting in Romans. God is speaking about Israel's rejection of Him.
Application:
Of all of the great verses in this chapter, this one, as negative as it is, really stands out to me. How many times am I disobedient and obstinate? Too many times, that's for sure. And yet, there is God, holding out His hands to me. God loves me so much it's hard to comprehend.
Prayer:
Dear Father, You are more than good to me. I can't thank You enough for what You do for me and for all of the incredible blessings You give to me. Your love is more than I can understand. So many times I ignore You, disobey You, reject You, and still You reach out to me with Your incredible love. Thank You, Father, thank You so much for loving me.
