Scripture:
Ephesians 6:16 - In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Observation:
Faith is the necessary ingredient to striking down the attacks of the enemy, not just some or even most, but it gives me the ability to strike down ALL of the attacks of the enemy!
Application:
Faith is an amazing thing. It is what saves me, brings joy and peace to my life, enables me to be pleasing to God, and allows me the ability to overcome whatever Satan throws at me. Faith is the key to living a victorious life. That's how vital faith is to living my life for God!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for providing everything I need to overcome ALL the attacks of the enemy. Help me to remember that everything I need is and always will be available to me through You--I just have to ask. Well, I'm asking now--please give me the faith to walk in the confidence that I can overcome every obstacle that I face. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness to me. Help me be faithful to You.
