Scripture:

Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Observation:

God saved us by His grace...it was nothing that we could do ourselves. Through faith we receive His gift. He created us in His image...to love and worship Him and to expand His kingdom.

Application:

God's grace is enough for us..there is nothing else that we can do to win favor other than accomplishing what He created us for...to LOVE HIM and LOVE OTHERS. There was a time in my life that I had a hard time accepting His grace...thinking that I had fallen too far from His hand...but He was there ...waiting for me...once I gave my life back over to Him...I realized...He was always there...it was me that was the issue. I finally grasped who I was in Christ and the gifts that He had promised me...there was such freedom in recognizing that.

Prayer:

Thank You, Lord, for Your grace...without it...I'm not sure where I would be. I thank You that my identity is in YOU! I pray that anyone else that is struggling to grasp YOUR grace would find it today! That they would set themselves aside to realize ALL that You have for them. Thank You, Lord, for saving me from myself!
