Scripture:

Jeremiah 25:7 "But you did not listen to me," declares the Lord, "and you have provoked me with what your hands have made, and you have brought harm to yourselves."

Observation:

This chapter records the prophecy of Jeremiah during which he had continuously pleaded with Judah for their repentance and whole-hearted return unto the worship of their true God. Judah never listened to him. Judah's day of grace was no longer, and God could no longer have mercy on this nation. The time of judgment was at hand!

Application:

This makes me think about my posture in life and balance of my priorities. Are they in line with God? Have I strayed off the righteous path and become ignorant to His ways? This verse has such direction for my life personally right now.

Prayer:

Father, I am so thankful for You and the things that You do and have done for me. I am nothing without You. I thank You for putting this verse in my life today as I know it was to recalibrate me to You. Thank You, Father.
