Scripture:

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."- 1 John 1:7

Observation:

When we walk in the light we have fellowship with Jesus, which leaves the question, when we walk in the darkness, who do we have fellowship with? With whoever it is, it is certainly NOT Jesus. Walking in the light gives us fellowship with Jesus and the blood of Jesus washes away all sin.

Application:

To hide our sin in darkness has been the response of mankind since Adam and Eve. Every time we try to conceal our sin from God it leads to disastrous results, therefore I am to walk in the light as He is in the light because I am not alone. He is there to cleanse me of not just some but ALL sin!

Prayer:

Lord I choose today to walk in the light even as You are in the light. Amen.
