Scripture:

John 7:37-38  On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

Observation:

This was at the end of the feast, and everyone was probably full of all the earthly food they could handle, yet Jesus stands up and says, "I have more for you, something that will make you different."

Application:

I can defintely get filled by the things from the world:  full of food, fun, and possessions. They can never satisfy the appetite; instead, the appetite just gets bigger. When I drink of what Jesus Christ has for me, it is living, it continues to satisfy. Oh, I really do want more, not out of dissatisfaction, but a genuine desire to allow Him to flow through me.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for allowing us to drink from a well that never runs dry, to be completely satisfied by the Holy Spirit. Help my spiritual capacity to be enlarged that more of the Holy Spirit may flow through me. Amen.
