Scripture:
Obadiah 1 This is what the Sovereign Lord says about Edom - We have heard a message from the Lord: An envoy was sent to the nations to say, "Rise, and let us go against her for battle" -
Observation:
God spoke to this one man and gave him quite the message: a very sad, direct, strong message to go into battle. And he spoke it to one man to give to the nations.
Application:
I am not even available enough to God to hear Him tell me what to do about my day to day responsibilities, He would never be able to tell me something to pass on to nations. My heart is to be a world changer. To effect the people around me, and for them to be able to see Jesus in me so much that they want what I have, but that is not happening around me. Why? I'm not available to God. I'm not giving my heart to Him daily for Him to guide me and truly use me.
Prayer:
Father, I know You love me and I love You so dearly. Forgive me for not being available to You. Forgive me for not stopping and inviting You into my every minute! I'm here asking for You to make a true change in me. Help me to stop every morning and make You the driver, so that when You're ready to send a message to the nations I'll be ready. I love You and thank You for Your Sovereignty. Your daughter, Amen.
