Scripture:

Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me: Your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of Your hands.

Observation:

The truth is that the Lord will fulfill His purpose in my life. Nothing can stop Him...or thwart His divine purpose for creating me!

Application:

I love how the Sunday's sermons match up with something you read the following week. Reading this is confirmation in my life that God is in control and He will have His way. He created me in my mother's womb for a purpose. Just like for David and the purposes of his life...nothing came in the way. God lined it up. Just like He is lining mine up. Daily. Hourly. Every second of my day.

Prayer:

God, I say "Yes," and move out of Your way. I know that I have stepped in the way many times, and that I will fail that very way again. You created me to have a free will, and when I choose incorrectly, I ask You, God, to realign me and get me back on track. Your purposes for my life are so much greater and higher than anything I could even plan for myself. I love Your ways because You have shown them to me, and there is nothing like them. I am Yours, and I am willing. I am putting my life at Your cross today and again tomorrow and so on. I love You, God. Amen.
